Dijaki so recept tipične jedi prevedli v angleški jezik. Nato so izračunali kalorično vrednost, ugotovili kemično sestavo jedi in pripravili t.i.
♦

PREFACE
♦
In the project titled Super Supper five secondary schools from Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Hungary joined together to promote healthy lifestyle among teenagers. The project Super Supper is part of Comenius projects, multilateral school partnerships, funded by EU.
♦
Eating together means living together and getting to know each other in a relaxed environment. Eating “good food” needs more and more attention in a society where eating habits have changed. Super supper wanted to promote awareness about good food which is healthy, ecologically friendly and economical.
♦
In the first year students chose national dishes of their respective countries and analysed various aspects of these dishes: calories, origin, ecological footprint and production costs. They translated the recipes for these dishes into English, shot video clips to present their preparation and wrote a little cook book with a relevant glossary. While working on these recipes, students paid special attention to genetically modified fruit and vegetables. Furthermore, they created and filled in a questionnaire to analyse eating habits of their peers in all five countries as well as how much exercise they get.
♦
During the second year, the project aimed at finding out how healthy the chosen national dishes of individual countries are. Besides, students of each country designed a sequence of keep fit exercises which are supposed to provide better state of health and they also shot a video of the execution of these exercises. The little cook book was finished as well as the official web page of the project.
♦
During the final get together we tasted the chosen national dishes at a pot luck party and organised a mini fitness club. All our findings about the dishes as well as the results of the questionnaire were presented to the parents and representatives of the local community.
